Lincoln is a black smoke. He is retired and living the good life in Indiana.
This is Lincoln. He is 4 years old. He is our retired Sire and now lives with my sister and I love being able to still visit him! The picture on the right was before he was neutered. Maine coons will not get their big adult coat in till about 6 months or so from neutering. All of our Coons fur look short compared to the kittens that leave us. Hormones play a role in this. Our females need shorter fur for nursing. Sometimes I do need to use clippers to cut down the fur before kittens are born but not normally. This is why my adults, when I post them, do not have those huge manes. The picture on the left is Lincoln a few months after being neutered. His fur is growing in beautifully!
