We started our Maine Coon adventure in 2017. I love this breed! Each and everyone of these cats have their own great personality and chirpy trill noises. All of our cats are well socialized with our kids. We do have a dog but he keeps his distance while cats are roaming.

Here is our Cattery 728 sq ft. We have been adding to it for a few years now. Their building is heated and cooled. We also have cats inside our home as well. We move them around from inside the building to inside our house as needed. Also helps with their socializing with all cats, kids, dog, and new environments. We also walk some on a leash outside. They love their catio!

When we first started we did everything in the house. Once our male hit 9 months he was spraying. We tried one room with him and it made the whole house smell. So we built our coon building. This is also good to keep our cats safe and deliveries safe and private. Also when we bring in new cats we have a place to quarantine them to keep our other cats safe and healthy. When our cats have surgery they have a safe and quiet place to go as well. We use this building for many things. We also have set rooms in our house as well depending on what is needed at the time.

This is our birthing boxes for our females. We have tried different things but our females prefer this. It gives them privacy. Also a heating pad in is there as well. Once kittens are 4 weeks old we take it away. We always have at least one kitten figure out how to get out at this age. We introduce attracting kitten litter and can food.

We remove the cat tree and put it back in when kittens are no longer in the birthing box. We don't want any accidental births or falls in the cat tree.

As mama's are ready to birth I have my birthing kit on hand, and I hang out with them through the whole process. We also have video cams in our building so we can always keep an eye on our coons.

This is Nala and we have her room set up for birthing. I like them to have a couple of weeks getting use to their birthing box so they feel comfortable birthing in them.
During the summer months we get their pools out and they love trying to get the toy fish out.

I am now an associate with Amazon. I am always referring families to our favorite products. Now it's much easier to find. Click the picture below.
