Frequently Asked Questions
What type of cats do you breed?
We specialize exclusively in Euroline Maine Coons. Our breeding cats are carefully selected for health, temperament, structure, and overall breed quality. Many of our lines have been imported or come from imported European bloodlines.
We do not breed any other cat breeds.
Where are you located?
Wildcat Creek Cattery is located in Kokomo, Indiana. We proudly serve families throughout Indiana and across the United States.
Are your cats health tested?
Yes. The health of our cats and kittens is extremely important to us.
Our breeding cats are DNA tested through Optimal Selection and screened for common Maine Coon genetic conditions including:
-
HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy)
-
SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy)
-
PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease)
Our cats are also tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
Can I visit the cattery?
We are a closed cattery for the health and safety of our cats and kittens.
Because our cattery is also our home, we do not offer public tours or visits before pickup day. This helps protect our kittens from outside illness and reduces stress on our mothers and babies.
Families picking up their kitten will have the opportunity to see the cattery/catio during pickup.
